About PsychDocs

Hello!

  • 🎓 NHS Psychiatry Registrar

  • 🌍 Supporting UK & IMG doctors

  • 💬 Personalised teaching & mentoring

I'm Henny, an NHS Psychiatry Registrar working in London with a passion for medical education, mentoring and helping doctors develop confidence in psychiatry.

I started PsychDocs because I know how challenging preparing for the CASC can feel. I remember how overwhelming it seemed at times, and I wanted to create the kind of teaching I would have valued myself—structured, personalised and genuinely supportive.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of teaching and mentoring doctors from a wide range of backgrounds, including both UK graduates and International Medical Graduates. One of the things I enjoy most is getting to know how each person learns best. Some candidates need realistic exam practice, others want to refine their communication or clinical reasoning, and many simply need the confidence that comes from practising in a supportive environment. There isn't a one-size-fits-all approach, so every session is tailored to you.

My teaching philosophy is simple: I don't believe in memorising scripts or learning the "perfect" answer. Instead, we'll focus on understanding what each station is really assessing, developing your own consultation style, and building the confidence to adapt to whatever the exam throws at you.

Above all, I want our sessions to feel friendly, relaxed and enjoyable. I'll challenge you, encourage you to think differently, and provide honest, practical feedback that you can immediately put into practice. My aim is that you leave every session feeling more confident, with a clear understanding of what to work on next.

I'd love to help you achieve the result you've been working so hard for, and I look forward to meeting you.
