These terms apply to individual tuition, coaching, mini CASC mocks and tutoring packages booked with PsychDocs.

1. Sessions and bookings

Individual tutoring sessions last 60 minutes and take place online, unless otherwise agreed.

Mini mock duration and content will be confirmed before booking.

Sessions are tailored to your learning goals. Please share any particular topics, feedback or learning needs you would like us to consider.

Bookings are subject to availability. Appointments selected through Calendly are provisionally reserved. Your booking is confirmed once payment has been received and you have received confirmation from PsychDocs.

Please check the date, time and time zone carefully.

2. Prices and payment

Individual tutoring sessions cost £65. A package of five individual sessions costs £300. Mini mock prices will be confirmed before booking.

Full payment is required before your session.

Price changes will not affect sessions or packages already purchased.

3. Tutoring packages

Packages are for your personal use and cannot be shared or transferred unless agreed in writing.

Your package expiry date is the exam date agreed when you purchase. Sessions must be completed by that date.

Please check that suitable appointments are available before purchasing. Purchasing a package does not reserve specific appointments or guarantee availability at your preferred times.

If your exam date changes, please contact us promptly to discuss your remaining sessions. Any extension must be agreed in writing.

Unused sessions expire on the agreed exam date, subject to your statutory rights. If PsychDocs cannot offer reasonable availability to deliver your remaining sessions before expiry, we will offer an extension or a refund for those sessions.

4. Cancellations and rescheduling

Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or rearrange a session. Notice is measured from the scheduled start time.

Please email info@fordoctors.uk to request a change. Rescheduling is subject to availability, and an alternative appointment cannot be guaranteed.

With at least 24 hours’ notice, you may rearrange without a charge. If you cancel an individual session with this notice, you may request a refund. For package bookings, the credit will remain available until the agreed expiry date.

For cancellations or changes requested with less than 24 hours’ notice, or if you do not attend, a cancellation charge of up to the full session fee may apply. For package bookings, up to one session credit may be deducted.

Any charge or credit deduction will reflect the loss caused by the cancellation, taking account of costs saved and whether the appointment can be filled by another student. It will not exceed the price paid for that session.

Please get in touch if exceptional circumstances arise. We understand that life happens and will do our best to accommodate changes, subject to availability.

5. Late arrival

Please join your session on time. If you arrive late, the session will normally finish at the original scheduled time, and the fee will remain unchanged.

If the tutor is late, you will receive the full session duration or an agreed alternative arrangement.

6. Changes made by PsychDocs

If we need to cancel or rearrange your session, we will let you know as soon as possible.

You may choose an alternative appointment, subject to availability, or a refund for the affected session. For package bookings, your credit will be restored or refunded, and the expiry date extended where necessary to allow the replacement session to take place.

7. Refunds and cancellation of a package

Your statutory cancellation rights are explained below.

Outside those rights, please contact us if you wish to cancel an unused or partly used package. Refunds will be assessed fairly, taking account of sessions delivered and any valid cancellation charges.

Any refund for unused package sessions will use the original package price per session. Sessions already delivered will not retrospectively be charged at the higher individual-session rate.

8. Online purchases and your cancellation rights

If you purchase online or otherwise at a distance as a consumer, you will normally have the right to cancel within 14 days of entering into the agreement, without giving a reason.

To exercise this right, email info@fordoctors.uk with your name, purchase details and a clear statement that you wish to cancel.

If you want tuition to begin during this 14-day period, we will ask for your express agreement before starting.

If you then cancel within the cancellation period, you may need to pay a proportionate amount for services already provided at your request. Your cancellation right ends once the service has been fully delivered only where you have expressly agreed to early performance and acknowledged that consequence.

Refunds due under these rights will be made within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice, normally using the original payment method.

These rights take precedence over the ordinary appointment cancellation policy where applicable.

9. Technical difficulties

Please ensure you have a suitable device, a working microphone and camera, and a reliable internet connection.

If you experience a connection problem, contact the tutor promptly so we can try to resolve it. We will do our best to continue a session via telephone if needed and suitable.

If a problem with the tutor’s connection or the teaching platform prevents the session from taking place, we will offer replacement time, rescheduling or a refund for the affected portion.

If a problem at your end prevents you from attending, we will discuss a reasonable solution. A replacement session is not automatically guaranteed.

10. Confidentiality and recordings

Neither party may record, photograph or share a session without the other’s prior agreement. Any agreed recording arrangements, including storage and use, will be confirmed beforehand.

Please anonymise any clinical examples you bring to sessions.

Personal information and discussions will be treated confidentially, subject to legal obligations and situations involving a serious concern about someone’s safety.

We use personal information to manage bookings, payments and communication about your tuition. Further details about how your information is handled, including the booking and payment services we use, are set out in our [Privacy Notice – insert link].

11. Teaching materials

Materials supplied by PsychDocs are for your personal study. Please do not reproduce, distribute, sell or publish them without written permission.

12. Scope of tuition

Tuition provides educational coaching, exam practice and feedback. It is not a clinical consultation, psychological treatment or a substitute for formal supervision.

We will provide services with reasonable care and skill. Exam outcomes depend on many factors, and a pass or particular result cannot be guaranteed.

PsychDocs is an independent tutoring service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Royal College of Psychiatrists.

13. Questions and complaints

If you have a concern about a session or booking, please contact info@fordoctors.uk. We will acknowledge your concern and work with you to find a fair resolution.

14. Your rights and changes to these terms

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

The terms provided when you purchase apply to that booking or package. Later changes will apply to new purchases unless we agree otherwise with you.
